To get to White Hart Lane we travelled by Train as we usually do. The journey didn't long and after a while we arrived at White Hart Lane station. My brother, My dad and I headed for the shop just outside the ground to get programmes. We normally go to this one because there isn't much of a queue. Afterwards we walked to the shop down the road where I had a small portion of Chips, a Saveloy and a can of Tango fizzy drink. We sat on a wall close by the shop and after we finished we headed for the ground.
The start of the game was just open play but after a while Peter Crouch eventually scored for Spurs. But later on Jermain Beckford scored making it all square for the teams. There were lots of fouls and Gareth Bale was injured resulting in him leaving the pitch for a few minutes.
Roman Pavlyuchenko was taken off the subsitutes bench and after being on for only a short time scored making it 2-1.
The referee indicated there would be 5 minutes of extra time and Leeds desperatley tried to score, making the final few minutes even harder for Spurs. But in the sixth minute after the match Jermain Beckford was fouled in the penalty area and Leeds were given a penalty, which they scored. Spurs fans left the match looking disapointed with the draw, but Leeds fans were cheering, glad they had not lost.
